研究方向

  • 1.生物多樣性的時空變化
    在環境快速變遷的威脅下,了解生物多樣性的時空變化及其影響機制,是有效進行生物多樣性保育的基礎。本研究團隊結合衛星遙測、聲音監測、生物多樣性資訊學等技術,在不同的尺度上,研究物種、功能與系統演化多樣性在時間與空間上的動態,並探討其背後生物與非生物的影響因子。
  • 2.聲音多樣性與環境變遷
    環境中聲音的時空變化,反映了各類聲源的動態,及其與自然和人為因子間的相互作用關係。為了解環境變遷對聲音多樣性的影響,並據此發展環境與生物多樣性監測的工具,我們與語音分析和辨識團隊合作,發展以機器學習和深度學習為基礎的工具,從環境錄音中擷取與量化與生物多樣性相關的資訊,並分析與環境動態的關係。
  • 3.生物多樣性開放資料在保育上的應用
    藉由資料的開放、流通與再利用,以獲取跨時空尺度、跨類群、跨領域生物多樣性資料與資訊,是填補生物多樣性知識缺口的關鍵。本研究團隊以生物多樣性資訊學為基礎,配合分析工具與技術的開發,藉由收集、整合與分析生物多樣性各面向的開放資料,以提供生物多樣性保育政策制定時的重要參考。
