研究方向

  • 1.海洋後生動物的巨基因體研究
    巨基因體學改變了我們對微生物群落的瞭解,這個方法也開始進行在後生動物的研究中。由於大多數構成海洋後生動物的物種體型小使得取樣困難,加上在卵及幼蟲等早期發域階段也難以型態辨識種類。因此,我們預期巨基因研究方法所具備的潛力,能讓我們對後生動物多樣性的瞭解進入新的里程碑。
  • 2.海洋無脊錐動物的演化生態學
    本研究室以巨基因體的遺傳分析方式研究海洋無脊椎動物個體和族群之生態及演化。這些數據將有利於研究無脊椎動物的分布、其生物族群結構、幼蟲分布以及相關領域的調察。
  • 3.遠洋浮游動物的族群分支
    族群分支和物種形成在演化上是很重要的機制, 也是形成遠洋浮游動物族群多樣性的原因。本研究室期望透過個體和族群的遺傳分析基礎, 能證明遠洋基因流屏障在建立新的海洋浮游動物族群及物種中扮演重要的角色。
