Abstract
        A better understanding of the local-global nexus of common pool resources, such as forests, biodiversity, oceans, and air, can help us analyze the root causes of the various environmental challenges we are facing today, and their governance. In this talk, Professor Nyaupane will attempt to provide a multi-scale perspective on the characteristics and governance of the commons.
