研究方向
- 1.山區森林土壤微生物族群
探討土壤微生物族群的重要意義,在於可藉此瞭解環境因子對於微生物多樣性組成的影響。森林經營管理常導致土壤性質和微生物族群的改變。透過 16S rRNA 基因庫,得以分析經森林經營管理後土壤細菌族群的差異。森林砍伐和樹種變更的干擾,影響天然林和受干擾林間的微生物族群組成,且增加土壤族群的多樣性。 - 2.森林土壤的腐植物質的特性
使用13C-NMR技術,探討不同森林土壤的腐植酸特性,包括植被、坡面效應、海拔高度的影響效應等等。強酸性和高水分含量造成了檜木林土壤低度的腐植化程度。終年多濕的環境,也減低了坡度效應對於腐植化作用的影響。 - 3.湖泊代謝
我們使用高頻即時監控湖水溶氧的技術,研究鴛鴦湖季節性變化及控制湖泊代謝的因子。湖泊初級生產力和生態系呼吸量皆以初夏和中秋達到最高,但台風和入冬之後迅速下降。生態系呼吸量對於外來干擾作用的忍受度,高於初級生產力,且在台風季節呈現激烈的日間變化。冬季的和台風季節所導致的水體混和作用,扮演著構成湖泊碳儲存和釋放的重要功能。
