我是一名研究浮游動物的海洋生物學家。浮游動物在水生環境中扮演著非常重要的生態角色，將能量和物質轉移至更高的營養階層，也是海洋中令人著迷的動物。我使用大量分子技術來研究浮游動物生態、演化及多樣性。

我亦提供了DNA序列參考資料庫，可作為粒線體序列分類指派參考（MIDORI 2）。
