
厭氧及極端微生物、微生物代謝多樣性、微生物之生理生態研究、環境體學分析
我的主要研究興趣是微生物代謝多樣性。目前著重於極端微生物的生理與代謝研究。極端微生物是偏好在極端環境中生長繁殖的一群微生物,通常爲單細胞原核或真核生物。極端環境係指不適合脊椎動物生活之環境,包括缺乏氧氣、極端溫度、極端酸鹼值或是高鹽度等特殊理化條件。伴隨新興微生物分析技術之興起,極端微生物之親緣及代謝多樣性研究,近來獲得許多重大進展。相關之微生物乃至酵素或代謝物,具有相當之生醫、農業與工業應用潛力。
