專長：真菌學，植物真菌互動，植物及土壤微生物相，真菌系統分類，微生物生態學

真菌無所不在，在自然界中不但演化出極高的多樣性，也扮演多樣且重要的生態角色。其中，真菌與植物的共生關係(例如菌根菌、內生真菌)一直是我研究的核心。我的研究主題主要針對植物共生真菌的三個面向：1)群聚生態學，2)演化生物學，3)真菌-植物互動關係。我使用不同的研究工具，從野外觀察，顯微鏡技術，乃至於使用各種omics技術，以瞭解不同植物中真菌在森林或農田中的多樣性及功能。
